The invite link asks for the permissions Vela's features use, and never Administrator. Moderation needs Kick, Ban and Timeout Members; lockdowns, channel locks and role panels need Manage Channels and Manage Roles; logging and anti-nuke need Manage Webhooks and View Audit Log; Discord AutoMod needs Manage Server.
You're always in control: remove any permission from Vela's role in your Server Settings at any time, and the affected features simply stop working until it's restored. Keep Vela's role above the roles you want it to manage. Vela never reads message content it isn't explicitly given (moderation scanning, tag commands) and never sells or shares server data.
